I have been meaning to do this for a while now. Guess now is as good of a time as any.
I am a stay at home mom to a little girl, Jada Raine age 2. The name of this blog is obviously named after her. The Roo part is a nickname that my sister Kari started.
I may stay at home but I also work from home. I take children into my home (daycare) Monday to Friday.
I am married to my husband Jason for 4 years now and living on the East cost of Canada. We have a dog named Cooper that I'm sure you may have seen in some photos.
Now onto the teaching stuff part.....
I am an ECE teacher trained in many, many teaching methods. My favorite is the Montessori method however I believe in using what works best for you and your child. I use a little of this and a little of that and not just one method or theory to teach. I am also a trained Kindermusik teacher and do teach once weekly. I have worked in day cares since 1998 and decided to open my own (sept 2006) when we moved to a house that had the space to do so. Through the years I have studied many things such as Sign language, Language development, Emergent Curriculum, Kindermusik and more that I am sure I am forgetting.
My blog is an eclectic mixture of all of the things I have studied over the years. I also enjoy crafting so you will find some of my attempts some good and some bad mixed in with daycare activities.
Thank you for visiting Jada Roo Can Do! I appreciate your views and comments

So nice to "meet" you - thanks for sharing a bit about yourself! So fun that you're a Kindermusik teacher - we LOVE the Kindermusik class we go to. What a lucky thing for your Jada to have a musical mama. :)
Thanks also for your comment on my blog today. I totally hear you about there being so many ideas and variations out there! That's why I think it's a great idea to just pick the place you saw it from and link back to there. :) Oh and if you can believe it actually DO know where the button turkey idea first came from! :) It was Anne at Itty Bitty Love. Have you checked out her blog? It's awesome!
I appreciate your linking back, too. Hope you have a great day!
Thanks for your comments:) I have checked out Itty bitty love in the past but haven't seen the button turkey until today. I noticed that she linked back to here :
