We still need to work on this activity a lot more. She was frustrated and started to pull at the turkeys feathers and stretched out the button holes. I had to stitch around the holes for extra durability.

Button Turkey
Thanksgiving in Canada is this weekend! I hope to get lots of activities done that involves Turkeys, giving thanks and food. I can't take credit for this button turkey idea. I have seen it on many blogs such as Here and Here and loved it so i tried to make my own. It turned out alright, I guess it looks like a Turkey. My favorite part is the different buttons. I collect buttons.....yeah I know I'm strange. I use them for all sorts of things including activities I do with the children at daycare. I even bought buttons at a thrift store during a vacation once lol

We still need to work on this activity a lot more. She was frustrated and started to pull at the turkeys feathers and stretched out the button holes. I had to stitch around the holes for extra durability.

Your button turkey came out SO cute!
Thank you ladies for linking back:)
I think it turned out great! I especially love the pictures of your little girl doing the buttoning. (And super-cool buttons. Love vintage buttons.)
