Tree Branch Buttons

Remember this post? Well I decided to make 100% recyclable ones After seeing THIS faboulous set. So the mystery from my last post is now solved. You now know what was in the small bags:) This present cost me next to nothing. I had extra material left over from the tree blocks and I went to the dollar store and got a set of 6 shoe laces.

The close ups make them look huge but really they are about 1.5 inches wide.

All strung together.

Again my hubby cut them and used the drill press to drill the holes. I am asking him to make me some more to give Jada's little friends for Christmas. I mean really I know the plastic ones are bright and inviting but you could always paint these ones.
You could even make some cute matching games by gluing on some stickers and omitting drilling the holes. Hmmmmm I think I know what my next project will be.......
