Weekend Winter Activities

This is Mommy's creation

This past weekend we had so much fun doing activities as a family. Here is a crafty activity that was a lot of fun. I got this idea off of the Disney Family Fun site. We used Rice Krispies instead of popcorn.

Daddy, Mommy, Jada and Cooper
Some of the items we used to decorate with:
licorice whips, chocolate chips, heart suckers, cherries, pretzels and carrots

Waiting not so patiently for mom to get organized

Jason made Cooper (our puppy)

The back of Cooper

Daddy's creation

Jason in deep concentration

Jada working hard. she asked for help in the end and ate he body weight in sugary junk!

This is the end result of Jada's creation with lots of help. She was frustrated with how sticky it was . She told me where to put everything

Jada and her daddy made a snowman. Pretty good considering we only got a few centimeters

Today we had way more snow than this about 10 cm or more. Jada went sledding and had a snowball fight with her daddy. Mommy and Jada had a 3 hour nap! yes 3 hours of snuggly sleep in mommy's bed. I can't wait for next weekend so we can do some more fun stuff as a family.

Awesome snowmen :) I had the same activity on my to-do list for our playdate tomorrow, great idea to use rice krispies instead of popcorn, that might be more tasty :) thanks for sharing!

Wow, that does look like some sweet and sticky fun! No snow falling on our side of the world, exactly the opposite in fact with long, hot summers days.
