Yesterday was hot here on the East Cost! like really hot! I decided to get a bit creative to keep the children busy and cooled off. I filled balloons with water and hung them off the clothesline.
Then I gave each child a chance to smack the balloons with the broom handle. No one could break the balloons so I poked them with a pin
After I poked them they sprayed just like a sprinkler
Jada and her friends had fun running through the water streams and it kept them cool :)

This is an AWESOME idea for a hot day! We have a hot day today and tomorrow so we may have to get the balloons out! I love it as an alternative to water balloons and throwing them. Thanks for coming and playing again at It's Playtime this week :)
That's a great idea! My kids would love the chance to whack water balloons, even if they didn't pop.
You could have so much fun with this. spinning the clothesline around. I can just see it now :) J would be squealing with delight.

Oh, speaking of which, we are in Hlfx now - when should we have a playdate? Email me a date/time, we are pretty open just yet, except for the 17th (Sun). Hopefully this hot weather will keep up - we're loving it!
