Andrea- I was having the same problem for a couple of weeks. It has FINALLY fixed itself! Then I was having an issue with my followers not showing! From what I googled, blogger is aware of the problem, but they are having some trouble getting it fixed. I hope your google account is fixed soon too!

I was having the same problem (very annoying) but then someone suggested I switch browsers to google chrome so I did and I can now comment!!!! Give it a try and see if it works for you :-)
the only thing that I've found works for me on the blogs where I have to sign in is to choose anonymous on the drop down menu and then just type my blog address at the bottom of my comment so they know where it's come from.

Cate I was on a blog yesterday that didn't have the anonymous option. So frustrating. For the longest time I didn't have the sign in option on my blog because I knew how annoying it was for people to leave me comments but then I got a ton of spam so now I have the sign in feature

Sometimes I find that if I'm not already signed in before I go to a blog, I can't get the sign in thingy to open when I want to comment. But usually if I sign in beforehand (for my dashboard), and then visit blogs, it seems to work ok.
Hope it sorts itself out soon. BTW, we are coming to Halifax for a month this summer. Are you up for some outdoor play?
