We just got home from the Cottage:) we had a great time! This is the kind of traffic jam you see in the country

We stopped at a farm near our cottage to visit the lambs. This guy was abandoned and was sucking on Jada's fingers because he wanted a bottle awwwww
So it's a work in progress. The outside is 85% complete and the inside only 2 % complete. You can see from the pics we are still very unorganized as this was our very first weekend at the cottage.
I will paint the front door when everything gets in order. What color do you think I should paint it? I was thinking black as it doesn't show dirt and we are in a very dirty environment. However, I'm open to suggestions.
This was Saturday morning at breakfast and we didn't have a kitchen area set up yet.
This is where Jada's room will be someday. I brought up a small toy shelf to keep her busy with only a few toys. Honestly she only cared about helping sweep the floor and riding her tricycle
She passed out in my arms so I layed her on the closest thing which was a chair that folds out into a bed
This was at night on Saturday after we finally settled on a kitchen area. We didn't have room in the car for the kitchen table set so we used our briefcase picnic table
Sunday morning as the sun was coming up. The black shelf on the end of the counter is for canned goods and paper plates and such.
The river across the street
My homemade clothesline. It looks pitiful but it did the trick for the weekend
So that's the latest update. I will post updates as they happen. The progress is a bit slow as it's mostly just my husband doing the work. You can view my other posts about the cottage HERE
