Quiet Book/ Busy Book Complete

Finally! Took me a good part of a year but it's done. It was very fun to make but time consuming unless you have a full 2 days to work on it. I blogged about starting the quiet book Here
The inspiration for this book came from The Martha Stewart Kids Holiday Magazine that I bought off Ebay. This is what the cover looks like in case you would like to check it out. Anyway it has patterns for quiet book pages and a step by step guide on how to make one.

So yeah the cover looks a bit wonky but it's because the book is full and it got distorted looking by the pages being bent and shifting to accommodate all the stuff stored in the pockets.

I hand embroidered the tittle of the book but the picture makes it look like I used a pen :p

The first page is inspired by the book It looked like spilt milk. There are more pieces in the little pocket

These two pages are straight from the Martha Stewart Magazine:)

And the last page is bears in the Forrest:) If I would have had more patience I would have made more but really the book is pretty thick as it is lol.

I was going to give this to Jada for Christmas but I think I will wait a while. she is just not starting to understand the concept of patience and being gentle with delicate things. Let's face it, the button holes in felt just don't take abuse. My poor button turkey got lots of abuse and it shows ha-ha

Thanks for looking and please see my sidebar for all the great blogs I link up to:)

That looks like a fabulous idea for car trips. Someone would have to sit in the back to pick up pieces, LOL. I vote for Daddy.
