Long Time Eh?

Been busy but not busy crafting. More like busy travelling. I'm tired and need a really good dose of home and cleaning and organizing. To kick off our organizing we bought a really rustic dresser to store and organize our stuff. We bought it off Kijiji for $45 and we are working on painting it white.
What do you think? It's hard wood and very heavy!
FYI Hubby loves to paint on our back lawn and makes crazy designs that make the neighbors ask what is wrong with our grass. Sigh............
Will post pics when it is completed:)

Jada Roo has a special message

How cool is this?

All you need is a plastic cup , a picture of your child making funny faces, soil and grass seed. I found this on a kids craft facebook group so i can't take any credit. I am going to try this with my daycare group this afternoon!

Texture Play Made Easy Peasy

So simple a monkey could do it. Seriously!

Take any noodle uncooked and put into a sand bucket or any other container that you don't mind getting stained. Add a few drops of food coloring and mix well until all your noodles are coated.

Then spread mixture onto an old towel. You may want to double your towel as my mixture leaked through and stained my counter top. Let dry about 2 hours and voila easy texture play

Kids love to play with new textures and colors. This could also be done with rice. Jada and her little friends played with this for a good hour before finding other things to play with.
